I have a friend. He is pretty buff. He ran CC with me in high school, got faster afterwards, and eventually gave up running to just lift weights and get buff. Earlier this week, I was walking past his house as he was about to leave for the YMCA. He invited me. We did deadlift and squat. I hurt. We did the body weight squat challenge yesterday. I hurt more. All legs so far. Good thing I don't have a football game this weekend due to a wedding.
To catch up, I competed a rugby sparingly this summer, played football this fall (season is still going; we are 5-0), and just did my second tough mudder. Okay, all caught up. Time to go back to the YMCA and cry through another workout with my friend.
